PE:

  • For outdoors (Key Stage 2): warmer clothes in winter, and possibly a tracksuit, as well as appropriate footwear.

We recommend that your child brings their PE kit on a Monday, and leaves it at school until Friday. It is essential that kit is clearly named. Clothing with inappropriate slogans is discouraged.

You can fill in an order form for uniform which can be collected at the general office.

For details see the office staff at the reception desk which is open from 8.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. on school days. It would be appreciated if all clothing could be marked with the child’s name and checked regularly to ensure that it can still be read. This applies especially to coats, indoor shoes, gloves, wellingtons, shoes and PE clothing.

We recognise that children like to wear modern hairstyles; however, extreme examples are not acceptable, especially those with words shaved in them.

Jewellery

As a general rule children should not wear jewellery for reasons of safety and the practical care of valued posessions. However, if children have pierced ears they may wear small studs only. All children must be able to remove their own jewellery for PE and Swimming otherwise exclusion from the lesson will be necessary. We cannot accept responsibility for any jewellery or personal items that go missing or are broken.
